Medicine in Practice Clinical scenario training for primary care pharmacy
Take the tour

Step inside the simulated GP practice

Medicine in Practice is not a slide deck. Behind the sign-up is a working, fictional general practice: a patient register with full records, a clinical system you work in, clinics that run in real time, and 1,362+ scored decisions waiting to be made. Here is what it looks like from the inside.

0 full patient records 1,362+ scored scenarios 95 interactive modules
Practice guidance

Everything you are about to see is a real recording of the training, using fictional patients. The full banks stay inside the paid programmes, but this is genuinely what your day in here looks like.

The clinical system

Meet your patients - real records, not vignettes

Every case sits on a full patient record, the way real work does. Open the chart and the tabs are all there: consultations, medication, results, problems, allergies and tasks. The safe answer is usually already in the notes - if you look.

…and 0 more full records inside - histories, third-party notes, past medication and social background

The Clinic Simulator

A live morning, not a quiz

Work a clinical-system worklist as encounters arrive: results, discharges, prescription requests, phone calls, a near-miss from the dispensary, a GP catching you in the corridor. Urgent work jumps the queue. You can phone a colleague for advice - but colleagues are human, and some are wrong.

Six focused clinics run on the same engine when you want to drill one skill:

LTC titration clinic - up-titrate, add, switch, hold or de-intensify Hypertension clinic - side effects, switches and secondary causes Prescribing-safety search - PINCER-style hazardous-prescribing worklists Telephone triage - 999, same-day, routine or self-care - at speed Paediatric prescribing safety - weight-band dosing and red flags Antipsychotic & SMI monitoring - the physical-health checks that get missed
A real recording: open the clinic and the day simply starts
The Practice Labs

1,362+ decisions, every one scored

Ten labs cover the real jobs of the role. Every action you take is marked against a model answer with the reasoning spelled out - so getting it wrong here is exactly the point.

Support as you work

You are not left alone in there

The training provides structured educational feedback. Clinical-supervision booking is being released in stages and is separate from urgent, patient-specific clinical advice.

Feedback on every decision

Every action you take is scored against a model answer with the reasoning laid out, so you learn the right call as you work - not just whether you got it right.

Clinical supervision opening in stages

Register interest in protected educational case discussion and portfolio support. It does not replace your employer's clinical escalation route or provide urgent patient-specific advice.

Mentor support where included

Packages that explicitly include mentoring show the allocation and availability before purchase. Self-study access does not automatically include a named mentor.

Why you only see fragments here

Every patient, letter and result in these clips is fictional, and this page deliberately shows the shape of the training rather than releasing the teaching content. The free Demo Lab contains eleven selected scenarios from easy to genuinely challenging, with no account or card needed. Full patient records, modules, practice banks and model answers unlock with the relevant programme.
